Alice Habekost

Alice Habekost, age 87, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born December 16, 1936 in Dayton, OH to the late Frederick Sr and Ruth Habekost. Alice worked for many years at the ASCS Farm Service Agency and later owned and operated the Country Chicken Store in West Alexandria. She was also a member of Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Donna Sue Habekost. She is survived by her brother Fred Habekost, Jr; nephew Hank (Tammy) Habekost; great nephews and niece Daniel Smith, Derek (Amber) Smith), Devin (Ali) Habekost-Eisenhour, D'Ann (Travis) O’Neill; and nine great great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Dan Mershon officiating.
