Amy Anna Call, age 85, of Camden, OH passed away peacefully on May 7, 2013 at the Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, OH. She was born November 13, 1927, to the late Fritz and Edna Mae (Huffman) Hans. Amy was an avid member of the Lend a Hand and Merry Homemakers Clubs; enjoyed farming with her husband Stanley; drove a school bus for several years for the Preble Shawnee School system; worked as a bookkeeper for the Call Oil Company of Camden; enjoyed taking steamboat cruises on the Delta Queen; and she loved flowers, cooking, nature, tending to her animals and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Martha Hans Tapalman; brother Paul E. Hans; and infant brother Karl Hans. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Stanley E. Call of Somerville, OH; son and daughter-in-law Randy L. and Connie Call of Eaton, OH; daughter and son-in-law Dana Sue “Susie” and Michael I. Sanders of Richmond, IN; son and daughter-in-law Vaughn D. and Dawn Call of Camden, OH; grandchildren, Chett (Tricia) Call, Brent (Courtney) Sanders and Molly (David) Austin all of Richmond, IN; great grandchildren Evan Sanders, Grace Call an Laney Call; sister Lois (Bill) McDowell of Fortville, IN and Ruth Mary Parks of West Manchester, OH; sister-in-law Esther Hans of Eaton, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and dearest lifelong friend Mary Katherine Wettja-Crouse of Eaton, OH. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am at the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church, 3022 Camden Sugar Valley Road, Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastors Gerald R. Sadai and Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held privately at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, OH.
