Angela "Angie" M. Meyers

On February 6, 2024, we lost a beautiful soul, Angela Marie Meyers, age 56 of Brookville, OH formerly of Largo, FL passed away peacefully at her home after a hard battle with cancer with her family by her side. She was born August 22, 1967 in Dayton, OH daughter of Carol and Johnny Jackson Sr.

Angie was known for her beautiful smile, her loving and sunshine personality. She spent many years working in nursing homes, taking care of others, and was loved by many of her patients and colleagues. Upon waking up everyday, she sent “Good morning sunshine, hope you have a great day, love you bunches" with special personal emojis to all of her family members. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her husband, children, and grandson meant everything to her. She will forever be missed and loved. 

Angie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glenn (Evelyn) Evans; paternal, Lloyd (Willa Dean) Jackson; and niece, Shannon Christina Byrd. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert “Rob” Meyers; daughters, Stephanie (Matt) McVey and Stacy Meyers; grandson, Landon McVey; mother, Carol (Johnny) Jackson Sr; brothers, Shannon (Christie) Byrd and Johnny Jackson Jr.; sister, Jennifer (Josh) Walker; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm at Gard Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320. Private burial services will take place at the convenience of the family. 

Memorial contributions can be made in Angies’ honor to the American Cancer Society for Esophageal Cancer Research.
