Anna Geraldine Dwyer

Anna Geraldine Dwyer, age 96, of Eaton OH passed away at Vancrest on Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was born February 28, 1916 in Preble County, OH to the late Hawley and Ethel (Lee) Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Ivan Stowe, who passed away in 1989, and Norman Dwyer, who passed away in 1994; brothers Glenn Ashworth and Lowell Ashworth; and grandson Scott Stowe. Geraldine is survived by her children Linda Stowe of Eaton OH, Don (Susan) Stowe of Eaton OH, and Barbara Chapman of Camden OH, as well as two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Geraldine was a founding member of the Jolly Circle Club and a lifelong member of the Eaton United Church of Christ and the Eaton Grange. She shared her love of music throughout her life and contributed to her community through a wide variety of church, community and club activities. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, at 11:00 AM at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
