Anthony L. “Tony” Moreland, age 74, of Eaton, OH passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH after a brief illness. He was born February 11, 1950 in Hamilton, OH. Tony was a 1968 graduate of Eaton High School; was a U.S. Army Veteran; and retired from the Preble County Engineer's Office with over 30 years of service. He participated in local recreational sports for many years; enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson; taking drives in his MG convertible and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events. He was preceded in death by his father Euie Moreland. He is survived by his mother Lois Moreland; sons Jesse (Leslie) Moreland and Josh (Tiffany) Moreland; grandchildren: Haylee Moreland (Molly Coughlin), Levi Moreland, Ali Bailey, Isaac Moreland, Titus Moreland, Elijah Moreland; brothers Doug (Marian) Moreland and Von (Kay) Moreland; sister Cindy (Mike) Klapper; and numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friend Jack (Carmel) Mann and many other special friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main St, Eaton, OH. Funeral service for Tony will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 27, 2024 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Fairhaven Cemetery.
