Barbara M. Lipps

Barbara M. Lipps, age 77, of New Paris, OH, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN.  She was born July 29, 1945 in Richmond, IN to the late Denver and Hermeonia Cohee, Sr.  She was an avid camper and enjoyed playing bingo.  Barbara was a very caring person and dearly loved her family.  She attended the Church of the Living God in Castine, OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vic Lipps; brother Denver “Denny” Cohee, Jr; and sister Madeline Gwin.  She is survived by her son Mark (Monique) Lipps of West Manchester; daughters Cindy (Scott) DuVall of Eaton and Jennifer (Rob) Besecker of New Paris; grandchildren, Ashlee (John) Filby, Tiffanee Gorman and Kalee (Andrew) Werner, Emmalie Besecker, Lauren DuVall and Taylor DuVall; great grandchildren: Grant and Dallas Werner, Knox and Austyn Filby and Tesla Lipps; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Steve Smith officiating.
