Barry E. Routzahn

ROUTZAHN, Barry E. On Friday June 11th, 2021 Barry Routzahn, loving husband, father and poppy passed away at the age of 73.  Barry was born on March 21, 1948 and he lived the majority of his life in Eaton, Ohio. He spent 27 hardworking years for Henny Penny, where he was loved by all his co-workers.  Barry was married to the love of his life for 54 years and they raised 4 children together, Randy, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Jodie.  He had a passion for all things college basketball, Cincinnati Reds, Coca-Cola, old western movies and loved “real” country music. He was a collector of clocks and Coca-Cola memorabilia and enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. He was often known for his quick wit and the ability to make anyone and everyone around him laugh.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Charles Cook. He is survived by his wife Sharon and his four children, Randy (Missy) Routzahn, Jennifer (Scott) Miller, Jonathan (Rachel) Routzahn, Jodie (Greg) Sersion, his 10 grandchildren and his 7 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH.
