Bernice L. Garber

Bernice L. Garber, age 87, of West Manchester, OH passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born January 7, 1931 near Surrey, ND to the late Simon and Lucy (Wagoner) Blocher. She was a member of Prices Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Edgar LaVern Garber in 2003; infant son Merrill; grandson Wade Garber; infant great-grandson Ty Kingery; five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Steven and Deborah Garber of West Manchester, OH, Nolan and Gina Garber of Quinter, KS and Dennis and Teresa Garber of West Manchester, OH; daughters and sons-in-law Ruth and Merle Miller of Elida, OH and Mary and Dale Miller of Farmersville, OH; 24 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Prices Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, three miles south of Eldorado, OH on State Route 726.
