Betty L. Caldwell

Betty L. Caldwell, age 81, of Eldorado, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, OH.  She was born April 14, 1943 to the late Carl and Esther Fitzwater.  She was a lifetime member of Lions International and Eaton Lions Club and Lewisburg Lions Club; was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church; was on the Pork Festival Board for many years; and retired as a receptionist from Preble County Job and Family Services.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ora Caldwell; Donald L. Zumbrun; granddaughter Brittney Caldwell; grandson Kian Caldwell; and brothers Dennis Fitzwater and Lee Fitzwater.  She is survived by her daughter Shari (Michael) Kosier of Eaton; sons Robert (Melissa) Caldwell of West Manchester and Tim (Chrissy) Caldwell of Lewisburg; grandchildren Grady Caldwell, Ashley (Nick) Waldbillig, Kaitlin (Brandon) Day, Trena Caldwell, Brianne Kosier, Austin Kosier, Ethan Kosier, Dylan Duffie; great grandchildren Kylie Caldwell, Gracelynn Caldwell, Braxlee Day, Katalina Day; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.  Burial will follow at Castine Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Lions Club International or Hospice of Dayton.
