Betty L. Rose

Betty L. Rose, age 89, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 8, 2012. She was born February 9, 1923 in Preble County, OH to the late Neal and Emma May (Shields) Geeting. Betty was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband’s James Bert Ledford, who passed away in 1982 and Berl Rose, who passed away in 2011; son James Bert Ledford, who passed away in 1966; brother Carl Geeting, who passed away in 1998; and an infant sister Mary Jane Geeting, who passed away in 1933. She is survived by her son Edwin “Eddie” Ledford of Eaton, OH; and nephews Tim Geeting and George Ledford. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastor Martin Peacock officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the church.
