Billy L. Garner

Billy L. Garner, age 81, of Middletown, OH passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1934 in Preble County to the late Ulysses I. and Anna Mae (Sheard) Garner. He was a 1952 graduate of Eaton High School; he served and retired from the U.S. Army; and he also retired from the Xerox Company. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Mae Garner, who passed away in 1981; son Jonathan Lawrence Garner; and daughter Rebecca L. Garner. He is survived by his son Edward (Fredia) Garner of Middletown, OH; daughters Peggy (Fred) Perkins of Harker Heights, TX; Pamela (Dave) Ericson of Shelbyville, IN; Patricia Williamson (Thomas Powell) of Middletown, OH and Sarah Garner (John Claudio) of Middletown, OH; grandchildren Timothy Garner, Christina Garner, Eric Perkins, Maxwell Perkins, Billy (Crystal) Garretson, Elizabeth (Ross) Terzin, Carolyn Sutfin, Barbara Sutfin, Justin(Tabby) Burnett, PFC Michael (Emily) Merrill, James (Lisa) Merrill, Misty Powell, Emilee Powell, Joseph Claudio, Valerie Claudio, Joshua Claudio and Bailey Miller; numerous great grandchildren; and sister Janice Rowe of Lynchburg, OH. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 4:00 pm until time of funeral services at 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
