Billy F. Johnson

Billy F. Johnson, age 76, of West Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton.  He was born August 2, 1946 in Jasper, Alabama to the late Fred and Merle Johnson.  Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #322, West Alexandria.  He enjoyed attending car races and fishing locally and in Michigan with Gene Marker.  He retired from Parker-Hannifin as a machinist in 2008.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Johnson; and an infant brother.  He is survived by his companion Patsy Adkins and her son Ben Johnson; sister-in-law Pat Johnson; nieces and nephews Sharesa Braden, Rob Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Scott Johnson, Shavonne, Sheralynn and Steve; and numerous great nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating.  Burial will be at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Preble County Council on Aging, 800 E.
