Bob L. Stover, age 78, of West Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at Heartland of Greenville. He was born May 4, 1935 in Richmond to the late Fred S. and Evelyn Stover. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #665, West Manchester and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Greenville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Fred, Edward, Howard, John, Vernie and Bill Stover; and sister Sue Scott. He is survived by his beloved partner Pat Stover of Arcanum; daughters Lisa Stover of Harlan, IN, Cathy Rowe of Billings, MT, Patricia Stover of New Paris and Bridget Stover of Arcanum; sons Bob Stover, Jr. of West Manchester, Thomas Stover of West Manchester, James Stover of Clayton, NC, Sean Stover of Arcanum, Bob Stover of Montana and Edward Stover of Montana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Tim Stover of Eaton, Raymond Stover of Richmond, Stanley Stover of Centerville, IN, Tyrone Stover of San Francisco, CA, and Terry Stover of New Paris; sister Madalyn Day of Arizona and Sylvia Warren of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 5 8 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
