Bobby G. Kelch

Bobby G. Kelch, age 89, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Dayton VA Hospice Center.  He was born March 28, 1932 in Willowdell, OH to the late Arthur and Merle (Banks) Kelch.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War; was a retired foreman from Dayton Press; and an active, devoted member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Eaton.  He moved to Lake Lakengren 25 years ago where he spent his time loving life on the lake and the golf course with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Charlene J. Kelch in 2012; son Douglas Kelch in 2018; and daughter Susan Creech in 2019.  He is survived by his son David Kelch of Dayton, OH; daughter Vicki (Chris) Jackson of Eaton (Lakengren), OH; daughter Jayne Kelch of Dayton, OH; grandchildren Ben, Rachel, Nicholas, A.J., Shannon, Steve, Sara, Cassie and Ricky; great grandchildren Jaysha Zachary and Quest Spruell; sister Marjorie Rupe of Columbus, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Dwight Hanson officiating.  Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 and one hour prior to services on Saturday all at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to VA Hospice of Dayton.
