Bruce Alan Samuels

Bruce Alan Samuels, 58, of Richmond, IN, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Reid Health after a lengthy illness. Bruce was born May 29, 1963 in Chicago, IL to the late Sam and Donna (Blankenship) Samuels. Bruce graduated from National Trail High School class of 1982. Bruce worked various jobs throughout his lifetime from bartending, Wal-Mart, Transilwrap, and B & F Plastics. He was an accomplished pool player and bowler, both of which he took very seriously. Bruce had an incredible sense of humor and a huge heart. Even while sick, he made us all laugh. Bruce is survived by his only son Brandon Samuels of Williamsburg, IN, whom he cherished and loved; siblings: Mark Samuels (Linda), Eaton, OH, David Samuels (Melissa), Centerville, IN, and Anita Samuels-Eby (David), Eaton, OH; nieces: Elizabeth Eby-Pambrun (Phillip) of Texas and Hannah Samuels, Centerville, IN; nephews: L. David Eby III (Jennifer), Springboro, OH and Steven Samuels of Richmond, IN; great nieces and nephews: Dresden & Alia Pambrum of Texas and Lance & Dylan Eby, Springboro, OH. A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene, 201 East Lexington Rd, Eaton, OH 45320 with a memorial service at 3:00 pm. Arrangements are being entrusted to Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home - Eaton, OH.
