Burch William Cramer, age 80, of Eaton, OH passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. He was born December 23, 1931 in Pickerington, OH to the late Noel and Georgia (Newlon) Cramer, Sr.. Burch was a U.S. Navy Veteran; he graduated from Indiana Technical College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Eaton, OH; was a Master Mason from the Canal Winchester Masonic Lodge; was a former Boy Scout Executive, who assisted in the organization of new troop packs; and he retired from Fox River Paper, Appleton, WI as a project engineer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister June Smith; grandson Christopher Cramer; and his granddaughter Summer Cramer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen Cramer of Eaton, OH; sons William (Rose) Cramer of Myrtle Beach, SC, James (Cherri) Cramer of Lake City, FL and Richard (Janice) Cramer of Spring, TX; daughters Janice (Kenneth) Ehresmann of Quincy, OH and Diana (Rusty) Rickmon of Dayton, OH; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother Noel Cramer, Jr. of Sandusky, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Chris Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park, Dayton, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with masonic services beginning at 7:45 p.m..
