C. Maragreet Back

C. Margareet Back, age 94, of Eaton, OH passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her daughter’s residence. She was born October 3, 1927 in Stuart, VA to the late Penn and Alphia Scott. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Middletown, OH since 1957. She was an LPN Nurse for many years at area nursing homes. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family; traveling with her sisters to Hawaii; and was most happy holding a baby in her arms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Richard W. Henry; second husband Ershel Back; daughter Rita Henry; and sons Eugene Back and Richard Henry II; four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Tony) Smith, Irene (David) Clippinger, Sharon Schamaun and Marti (Mark) Mendenhall; sons Vernon Lee (Renita) Back and Jerry Ray Back; daughter-in-law Trudy Henry; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters Hattie Lee Folck and Jerline Alysworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Fred Shoemaker officiating.
