Carl Thompson

THOMPSON, Carl E., age 90, of West Alexandria, OH. passed away Sat. Sept. 14, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton.  Carl was born in Pitsburg, OH. on Feb. 7, 1923 to Grover and Susan (Mote) Thompson.  He was a WWII Army veteran and had retired from NCR of Dayton. Carl enjoyed fishing and traveling the United States.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Thompson, 3 children, Richard (Shawn) Thompson, Ada Township, MI., Patricia (James) Frizzell, West Alexandria, OH., Herbert Thompson, Dayton, OH., 3 granddaughters, Nikki (Kipprick) Moore, Sherry (Lucian) Hurst, Jodi (Brett) Marker, 4 great grandchildren, Elliana, Carson, Jaxson & Kynlee, sister, Ruth Mahaffy,  brother, Rollin Thompson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lucille Pond, Jane Hendrickson, and brothers, Robert Thompson and Paul Thompson.  Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Thurs. Sept. 19, 2013 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. with Rev.  Chris Farmer officiating.  Burial will be in Mote Cemetery, Arcanum,OH.
