Carla "Phyllis" Leis

Carla “Phyllis” Leis, age 66, of Eldorado, OH and formerly of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. She was born October 21, 1958 in Richmond, KY to the late Carl and Addie Brown. She worked with the Preble County Victim Witness Program for many years. Phyllis was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Leis; son Matthew Leis; grandson Corey Woolums; and brother Ray Brown. She is survived by her daughter Bandy Leis; granddaughter Cheyla Woolums; sisters Rena Lawson and Gina (Mike) Warner; sister-in-law Linda Russ; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
