Carol K. Marker, age 79, of Eaton, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 28, 1939 in Dayton to the late Donald and Alma (Landis) Baker. She was a graduate of Monroe High School. She loved all kinds of animals and was always willing to help any stray she came across. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Devon I. Marker in 2011; and granddaughter Lezlie Shively in 2011. She is survived by her daughters Tina (Steve) Shively-Hawley of Lewisburg and Kathy Cullers of Eaton; grandchildren Randy Cullers of Eaton, Chad (Shannen) Shively of Lewisburg, Dana Carter of Eaton, Gary Carter, Jr. of Eaton and Michelle Carter of Eaton, Rachel Hawley of Cheyenne, WY, Kodi (Jennifer) Hawley of Verona and Skyler (Leah) Hawley of Verona; great grandchildren April Cullers, Delaney Shively, Owen Shively, Ryan Shively, Olivia Carter, Ella Carter, Landin Hawley and Angelina Hawley; brother Bruce (Sara) Baker of Eaton; sister Karen Cameron of Centerville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
