Carolyn R. Jones

Carolyn R. Jones, age 76, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2012. She was born December 31, 1935 in Dayton, OH to the late Thurmand and Berniece (Stover) Kite. Carolyn was a member of Visitation Catholic Church, Eaton, OH and was an avid bowler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William F. “Bill” Jones, who passed away November 28, 2010; daughter Kim Roth; son Chris Northern; and sister Jacklyn Kite. She is survived by her children Michael Northern of Kettering, OH, Mark (Joyce) Northern of West Alexandria, OH, Matthew Northern of Arizona, Regina (Mick) Fletcher of Dayton, OH, Amy Northern of Columbus, OH, Peggy (Frank) Hillberg of Dayton, OH and Katie Spice of Eaton, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; stepchildren Donald (Linda) Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Cynthia (Bob) Caskey of LaVerne, CA and Dana (Doug) Francis of Morrow Bay, CA; son-in-law Mike Roth of Decatur, IN, step-sister Sandy True of Dayton, OH; and cousin Cheri (Larry) Armstrong of Centerville, OH. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until time of memorial service at 7:00 P.M. at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Father J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Mound Hill Cemetery (new section), Eaton, OH.
