Chelsea was incredibly proud of the farming community in which she grew up, and she thoroughly enjoyed spending time at her Grandparents' farm. After anxiously awaiting the opportunity, she eagerly joined FFA in high school. She was incredibly active in the organization, which allowed her to learn new skills, talents, and to build numerous friendships. Two of Chelsea's closest friend were in FFA with her; lifelong friend Miranda Armstead and Alisha Dunkleburger.
