Christina "Tina" Dickerson

Christina “Tina” Dickerson, age 72, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Preble County Emergency Center in Eaton. She was born October 25, 1949 in Richmond, IN.  She was a retired teacher from Preble County ESC and had a passion for helping people with special needs.  She was an avid reader and loved animals, birdwatching and especially her dog “Desi”.  She was preceded in death by her father Charles Bailey.  She is survived by her daughters Chelsea (Kire) Murtanovski of Westerville, OH and Liana Dickerson of Chicago, IL; mother Jean Bailey of Eaton, OH; sister Dianna (Don) Houser of Eaton, OH; nieces Lisa (Rob) Welcome of Milford, OH and Kristin (Kevin) Schamel of Eaton, OH; and several great nephews and niece.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jeff Travis officiating.  Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Preble County Library, where she spent many hours enjoying her passion for reading.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com
