Christine Cole

Christine Cole, age 94, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at her residence.  She was born November 7, 1926 in West Alexandria, OH to the late Henry Benton and Charlotte Lynn (Wikle) Askin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Junius Cole in 2003; son Dennis Ray Cole in 2013; great grandson Curtis Fannin in 2000; brother Henry Benton Askin in 1980; and daughter-in-law Judith Hall-Cole in 2021.  She is survived by her sons Kenneth Gary (Brenda) Cole of Lewisburg, OH, Ben Junius Cole of Eaton, OH and Marty Lee (Robin) Cole of West Alexandria, OH; grandchildren: Thea (Duane) Showalter, Mark (Patty) Cole, Marie (Greg) Johnson, Brian Cole, Tracey (Steve) Mitchell, Andrew (Lori) Cole, Aaron (Amanda) Cole, Lauren Cole and Madison Cole; great grandchildren Anthony, Abby, Andrew, Oliva, Mica, Joshua, Aaron, Allison, Ariel and  Abbigail, Jackie (Drew) Jackson; great great grandson Jack and Weston; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Lindloff Zimmerman Funeral Home, 67 West Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH.  Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton or American Diabetes Association.  Online condolence and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.lindloffzimmerman.com.
