Clarence Molitor

MOLITOR, Clarence "Mo", age 85, of Lewisburg, OH. died Tues. June 4, 2013 at his residence.  He was born in Sidney, OH. on Feb. 25, 1928 to Frank and Anna (Dearth) Molitor.  Mr. Molitor was a graduate of Sidney High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University.  He later received his Masters degree from Ohio State University.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1946 to 1950.  He was a teacher and coach for the West Alexandria and Twin Valley South School District for 22 years. He was inducted into the Preble County Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006 and into the Twin Valley South Hall of Fame in 2007. He was also a member of First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jan Molitor,  daughter, Molly (Patrick) Holt, New Lebanon, OH., son, Brian (Kimberly) Molitor, Lewis Center, OH., 4 grandchildren, Jarod Holt, Brianna Molitor, Jesse Holt, Ethan Molitor and stepson, Joshua Holt, brother, Wilbur Molitor, Indian Lake, OH., nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and  2 brothers, Gerald Molitor, Malcolm Molitor and sister, Mariam.  A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM. Sat. June 22, 2013 at United Church of Christ, 400 N. Main St. Lewisburg, OH. 45338.  Friends may call at the church on June 22, 2013 to visit with the family from 12:00PM untill 1:00 PM.
