Cledith B. Bresher

Cledith B. (Doran) Bresher, age 90, of Eaton, OH, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center, Eaton. She was born on July 1, 1922 in Hiltons, VA to the late Kelly and Ethel (Hensley) Doran. She graduated from Dixon High School in 1941. She married Charles “Chuck” Bresher on June 22, 1945. They settled in Dixon Township where Cledith was a dedicated farm wife. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Chuck Bresher, who passed away on May 6, 1998; sisters Evelyn Richardson, Phyllis Smith and Thelma Bolinger; and brother Bill Doran. She is survived by her daughters Becky Koontz and Marty Bresher both of Eaton; brothers Ronald (Rosalie) Doran of Eaton and Russell Doran; grandchildren Scott Bresher, Sarah (Eric) Wallen both of Eaton and Steve Koontz of Cincinnati; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friend Ursel Simpson of Eaton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Fred Hill officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton. Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and one hour prior to services on Thursday all at the funeral home.
