Curtis E. Daily

Curtis E. Daily, age 69, of Panama City Beach, FL and formerly Springboro, OH and Brussels, Belgium, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Ohio State Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1943 in Hamilton, OH to the late Golden M. and Howard C. Daily. Curtis was raised on the family farm in West Elkton, OH; he was a 1961 graduate of Shawnee High School; he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and he retired as a Group Vice President from Duriron Company of Dayton, OH with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law CPT Shawn L. English. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beverly J. Daily of Panama City Beach, FL; son Todd (Barbara) Daily of Lewis Center, OH; daughter Tricia (Mick Karp) English of Lewis Center, OH; son Dwayne (Cathy) Daily of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Sloane and Callen Daily of Lewis Center, OH and Nathan, Noah and Austin English of Lewis Center, OH; brothers William (Sue) Daily of Eaton, OH, Paul (Cheryl) Daily of Easley, SC, Rick (Linda) Daily of Eaton, OH and David (Janet) Daily of Eaton, OH; sister Nancy (Forrest) Grassmann of Eaton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
