Dave E. Stevenson

David “Dave” E. Stevenson, age 80, of Eaton, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 13, 2023. He was born May 15, 1943 in Lima, Ohio son of the late Harold and Peggy Stevenson. Dave was a faithful member of 48 years at Grace Lutheran Church. He was a 1962 graduate of Bath High School in Lima, OH. Dave went on to graduate from The Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy 75th class, serving his community for several years before retiring in 1989. He also retired from the Preble County Juvenile Court. Dave loved to travel to Florida and swim with the manatees, ride his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by Daniel Stanford. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandy (Cremean) Stevenson; daughters, Lori (Phil) Rea and Lisa (Jeff) Gabbard; grandson, Winston (Katie) Rea; brother, Wayne (Ellen) Stevenson; sister, Lynette (Tim) Howard; brother-in-law, Ken Cooper; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Gard Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. There are no services at this time.
