David Lynn Rice

David Lynn Rice, age 71, of Eaton, OH passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center, Eaton, OH. He was born May 27, 1942 in Greenville, OH to the late George W. and Marie (Reed) Rice. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1960 and was a veteran who served in the Ohio National Guard. He was a longtime Preble County farmer, a fair exhibitor at local fairs for over 20 years, as well as a very active Preble County Fair Board member for many years. He is survived by his brother Fred (Kelly) Rice of Lewisburg, OH; nephews Michael and Joseph; niece Amanda; and devoted companion Diane Baughman of Eaton, OH. Friends will be received on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
