David Via

VIA, David L.Sr, age 77 of Germantown, OH. passed away Tues. Jan. 10, 2017 in Eaton.  He was born in Covington, KY. on Dec. 6, 1939 to Samuel and Gladys (Bailey) Via.  He was a graduate of Gratis High School and had retired from General Motors in 1999 after 29 years.  David was a member of Lighhouse Baptist Church in Gratis.  He loved to golf, ride motorcycles and he loved animals and nature.  He is survived by his loving family, wife of 52 years, Joyce Via, 3 children, David Lee Via Jr., Germantown, OH., Douglas Via (Liza Lewis), Middletown, OH., Jeffrey (Theresa) Via, Gratis, OH., 5 grandchildren, Cameron Via, Collton Via, Ady Via, Bre Via, Kylie Via, and brother, Charlie (Pat) Via, Carlisle, OH.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Samuel Via Jr., Ralph Via and sister, Wanda Via.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sat. Jan. 14, 2017 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH. with Rev.
