Dean Allan Kreitzer

Dean Allan Kreitzer, age 66, of Eaton, OH passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at State of the Heart Hospice at Wayne Healthcare, Greenville, OH. He was born April 10, 1952 in Dayton, OH to the late Ervin and Mina Kreitzer. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Dean enjoyed raising and showing sheep at the Darke and Preble County Fairs for many years, where he made many friends. He recently retired from Parker Hannifin Company after 24 ½ years. He enjoyed being a meat-cutter at Kroger in Eaton for the past 12 years. Many will miss his giving heart and giving hands without being asked. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Margaret Crabtree and brother Don Kreitzer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Deborah (Price) Kreitzer; son Brian (Hannah) Kreitzer of Miamisburg, OH; daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Derringer of Lewisburg, OH; brother Eugene Kreitzer of Eaton, OH; sisters Marie Scheiding of Lewisburg, OH and Helen (John) Allen of Williamsburg, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at New Hope United Methodist Church 5367 US-35, Eaton, OH 45320. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
