Dianna Fay Asbury

Dianna Fay Asbury (Combs), age 75, of Gratis, Ohio, got her wings on August 28th, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. Dianna was born on December 4th, 1948 in Gratis Ohio, to the late James and Ruby Combs. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Asbury, her only daughter and best friend Shannon (Kelly) Taylor, and her wonderful grandchildren, Matt (Katie) DeGroat, Macy DeGroat, & Dylan Taylor. She is also survived by her two brothers, Kenny (Faith) Combs and Greg Combs, her buddy Matt Webb, brothers and sisters-in-law, and her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom she cherished dearly. Dianna loved to do crafts, watch soap operas and westerns, do crossword puzzles, ride on the Harley with her husband, have “girls days” with her daughter and granddaughter, go to car shows, and spend time with her family, especially her boy Matt. Dianna’s biggest love was her love for her animals that she’s had over the years, Jakey boy in particular, and for all of those that she ever came near. Her family was small but mighty and will forever have a missing piece with their rock now gone. They will cherish the memories they made over the years and keep them dear to their heart forever. All they ask at this time is for prayers and time to process such a sudden and disheartening loss. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm at Gard Funeral Home in Gratis.
