Donald L. Daily

Donald L. Daily, age 68, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.  He was born March 2, 1954 in Dayton, OH to the late Clifford E. and Genevieve J. (Handley) Daily.  As a young man, Don earned his Eagle Scout award.  He retired from Parker-Hannifin Company after 43 years of employment; and was also a volunteer at the Preble County Community Thanksgiving Dinner for over 23 years.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Richard Daily; and sister Joanne Studebaker.  He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rita Daily of Eaton; daughter Janey (Craig) Brown of Pensacola, FL; stepson Kyle (Victoria) Holman of Fairborn, OH; grandchildren: Maylin (Gabe) Thompson, Jesse Brown and Joel (Kenzie) Brown all of Pensacola, FL; brother of Dan (Sue) Daily of Eaton; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of services at 12:00 noon at the Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple Street, Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastor John Richards officiating.  Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Eaton United Methodist Church or Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, 31 Wyoming St., Dayton, Ohio 45409.
