Donald R. Huffer, age 56, of Camden, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born September 19, 1957 in Dayton to Albert Edward and Betty Lou Huffer. Don contributed many hours to the ASK Playground Building project; was an activist for the Boys Town Organization; was a member of the Christ Commission Temple, Camden; and was an avid pool player and enjoyed riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Huffer, who passed away in 2001; and his brother Albert Toa Eugene Huffer, who passed away in 1966 as a causality of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Becca Huffer of Camden; brother Roy Douglas (Patty) Huffer of Camden; sisters Amber (Bob) Huffer-Brewer of Oxford and Robin Huffer-Brummett of Camden; step-children Charles, Sarah, Rachael and April Tolson; nieces and nephews Jennifer, Stacey, Donnie, Austin, Nicole and Justin; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Christ Commission Temple, 155 North Main Street, Camden, OH 45311 with Pastor Larry Davidson officiating. Interment will be held private at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.
