Donald A. Kirkpatrick

Donald A. Kirkpatrick, age 92, of Englewood, OH and formerly of New Lebanon, OH passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Englewood Manor. He was born February 14, 1919 in Dayton, OH to the late Leroy and Marie (Ashworth) Kirkpatrick. He was a 1937 graduate of Steele High School, Dayton, OH; was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during WWII; was a longtime member of the Eaton Baptist Temple; and retired from Delco Air after 38 years of employment. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Ruby N. Kirkpatrick and granddaughter Heather Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his sons David (Marilyn) Kirkpatrick of Englewood, OH, Larry (Annette) Kirkpatrick of Midland, MI and Bruce (Bev) Kirkpatrick of Union, OH; grandchildren Nathan (Brandy) Kirkpatrick, Mark (Kimberly) Kirkpatrick, Bill Kirkpatrick, Amy (Lucas) Cady, Scott Kirkpatrick and Tim Kirkpatrick; 8 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Norma Blair. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
