Donald A. Macpherson

Donald A. Macpherson, age 89, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1930 in Covington, KY to the late Walter C. and Jane E. (Grote) Macpherson. Don retired after 44 years of employment from the DP&L company. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Walter “Sandy” Macpherson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maggie Macpherson of Eaton, OH; son Gregory (Belinda) Macpherson of Medina, OH; daughters: Anne (Charles) Box of New Hampshire, Beth (Chuck) Meade of Beavercreek, OH, Joan (Joel Fondell) Macpherson of Wilmette, IL and Carol (Roberto Marin) Macpherson of Chicago, IL; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brothers James (Mae) Macpherson of Kettering, OH and David Macpherson of Toledo, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH.
