Donna J. Herrmann

Donna J. Herrmann, age 76, of Eldorado, OH, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. She was born December 30, 1937 in Eldorado, OH to the late Samuel C. and Treva L. (Rutan) Harsh. She was a 1955 graduate of Richmond High School; she was a member of St. John Catholic Church, New Paris, OH and St. Anns Altar Sodality; and she was a Sewing 4-H Volunteer for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Kevin Sonny Kotara. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John W. Herrmann of Eldorado, OH; daughters Deborah Strong of San Antonio, TX, Mary Kotara of San Antonio, TX and Janet (Manuel) Guerrero of Atlanta, GA; sons John R. Herrmann of Martin, OH and David Herrmann of Eaton, OH; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the St. John Catholic Church, 400 North Spring Street, New Paris, OH with Father J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., with a rosary service at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
