Donna J. Oppie

Donna J. Oppie, age 65, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 23, 2012 at Heartland of Eaton. She was born on April 2, 1947 in Richmond, IN to the late Stanford L. and Frances (Kelley) Manning. Donna had worked at the Title Department of the Preble County Clerk of Courts for 19 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband James C. Oppie, who passed away in 1970; and nephew Michael Manning, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her son James C. Oppie of Eaton, OH; sister Mary Johnston of Eaton, OH; brother Marvin Manning of FL; niece Amy (Bill) Salyers of Ross, OH; nephew Patrick (Bernadette) Johnston of Xenia, OH; numerous great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Cheryl Manning of Eaton, OH. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Abundant Heart in Christ Church, 216 S. Cherry Street, Eaton OH with Pastor Ray Sowder officiating.
