Doris E. Ricker

Doris E. Ricker, age 83, of Arcanum, OH, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, OH. She was born July 7, 1928 in Lewisburg, OH to the late Earl and Ada (Parks) Larsh. Doris farmed for many years with her parents; was formerly employed at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, OH; and was employed and part-owner of Gobbies in Greenville, OH. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Ricker; sisters Hilda Mowery and Marilyn Hutton; and an infant brother. She is survived by her daughters Linda (Steve) Myers of Fostoria, OH, Wilma Buffington of Texas and Wanda Schroeder of Arcanum, OH; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters Arlene (Gerald) Miller of Eaton, OH, Phyllis of Florida and Olive (Terry) Trump of South Carolina; and brother Charles (Juanita) Larsh of Greenville, OH. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
