Doris Williams Whaley

Doris Williams Whaley, age 98, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born August 23, 1915 in Richmond, IN to the late George and Della (Via) Williams. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church; and she retired from Parker-Hannifin Corporation of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gola E. Whaley, who died in 1977; 6 brothers and 7 sisters; step son Lee Whaley; infant step great grandson Joseph Gilbert. She is survived by her step daughter Phyllis Gilbert of Oregon; step son Kenneth (Carole) Whaley of Toledo; step daughter-in-law Wanda Kujawa of Toledo; numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Warren Reichert officiating.
