Dorothy L. "Dottie" Campbell

Dorothy L. “Dottie” Campbell, age 85, of West Alexandria, OH passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She was born July 30, 1933 in Campbellstown to the late John Albert and Ruth (Kesling) Renner. She was a member of the Club 18; was baptized and a member of the Church of Christ in Eaton; she retired from Parker-Hannifin Company and also worked at Elder-Beerman’s store in Richmond; and she was former owner and operator of Ceramics by Dottie. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Campbell; son David Scott Campbell; granddaughter Melanie Brasher; sisters Janice Gilbert and Rachel McIntosh; and brother John Calvin “Jack” Renner. She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline “Jacki” (Joe) Schriever of Camden; son Frederick “Fritz” (Peggy) Campbell of Eaton; daughter Kay (Raymond Gates) Campbell of Bunnell, FL; grandchildren: Lucus (Michelle) Shanefelt, Carrie Lou Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Sarah (Derrick) Horvath, Stephanie Campbell and John Campbell; numerous great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; brothers Richard (Quelda) Renner and Phillip (Sandy) Renner both of Eaton; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:30 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Rhonda Alderman officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
