Doroty Doty White

WHITE, Dorothy Louise (Doty), age 86 of Kettering, OH. died Sun. July 11, 2010 in Dayton.  She was born in Gratis on Nov. 21, 1923 to Clifford and Emma (Brown) Doty.  She was a graduate of Gratis High School and moved from Preble County to Dayton in 1942.  She had retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base in 1980 after 33 years.  She was a member of Ohio Eastern Star.  She had been an avid golfer and had been on the Wright Paterson Women's Golf Team.  She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (David) Overberg, Kettering, a sister, Annabelle Doty, Kettering,OH., 2 grandchildren, Stephen Gantert and Amy Becher, both of Cincinnati, OH., 1 great grandson, Stephen Gantert, Farmersville,OH. nephews, Ashley (Barbara) Bloom, Oakwood, Scott (Lori) Bloom, Santa Cruz, CA., Michael Bloom, Dayton, OH. and 2 great nieces, Jennifer (Daniel) Ronayne, Livonia, MI., Stacy (Johnny) Sebastian, Miamisburg, OH. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Bloom.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wed. July 14, 2010 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
