Dr. Raymond D. Wolf, DO, age 67, of Dayton, OH passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in the comfort of his home. He was born July 10, 1957 in Plainfield, NJ to Beverly Buhowsky Wolf and the late Raymond Wolf. Raymond grew up in Garwood, NJ and Sumter, SC. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and his Medical Degree from the New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Raymond had a longtime medical practice in West Alexandria and the Dayton area, starting in family practice and then extending into plastic surgery and phlebology. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoor sportsman, and was a longtime member of the Spring Run Trout Club, Fairborn. He also enjoyed cycling and having a glass of wine with a friend. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Anthony and Frances Buhowsky; paternal grandparents Raymond and Catherine Wolf; uncle and aunt, Col. Retired Alfred and Kathleen Mock. Survived by his children Emily Wolf, Ashley Wolf and Ryan Wolf; mother Beverly Wolf; sisters Elizabeth Wolf and Susan Phillips; nieces Amanda Wolf, Sarah Wolf-Jarensky, Kaitlyn VanValkenburgh-Adams; uncle Anthony Buhowsky; cousins Fred Mock and Andy Mock; and many special friends.
