Duane Stanton

STANTON, Duane (Dewey) R., age 83 of Eaton, OH. died Thurs. Dec. 4, 2014 in Kettering.  He was born in Farmersville, OH. on July 6, 1931 to Jesse and Edna (Bowers) Stanton.  Dewey served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a 60-year member of the American Legion Post #322, West Alexandria, OH.  He is survived by his sister, Delores (Robert) Hipp, niece, Debbie (Rick) Schmidt, both of Centerville, OH., and niece, Tara Hipp (Morgan Clarke), Kettering, OH., a great niece and great nephew, step-children, Melodie (Chris) Comer, Guy and Shane Clark, Lisa Bruner, James (Beth) Gates, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Gates, several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sat. Dec. 13, 2014 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sat. Dec. 13th from 9:30 A.M  until 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to James E. Ryan Post #322 American Legion, P.O.
