Emma I. Snyder

Emma I. Snyder, age 101, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away March 24, 2017 at her winter home in Lake Placid, Florida. She was born May 8, 1915 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Albertis and Nancy (Siler) Geeting. She was a 1933 graduate of New Madison High School; was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren; and a former Preble County Clerk of Courts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harlan G. Snyder. Survivors include son Albert (Melody) Snyder of Englewood, Ohio, daughters: Nancy (Gale) Bigham of New Paris, Ohio, Karen(Ron) Hensel, Sandra(Harold) Beckett of Eaton, Ohio and Janet Woltja of Eldorado, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Eaton Church of the Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, Ohio on Saturday April 1, 2017 starting at noon, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2;00p.m. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
