Eric M. Long

Eric M. Long, age 37, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 28, 2012. He was born July 15, 1974 in Dayton, OH to Robert and Geron (Barnett) Long. Eric was a 1993 graduate of Tri-County North High School; was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer; and dearly loved his family and spending time with his niece and nephews whom he was known to as “Uncle E”. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dorothy Barnett and paternal grandfather James Delbert Long. He is survived by parents Robert and Geron Long of Eaton, OH; sister and brother-in-law Angie and Bart Davis of Eaton, OH; niece and nephews Kamryn, Ty, Drew and Jay Davis all of Eaton, OH; maternal grandfather Earl Barnett; paternal grandmother Grace Long; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Pastor Stan VanAusdal officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH.
