Evelyn A. Baumann

Evelyn Anne Baumann, age 94, of Eaton, OH, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. She was born May 20, 1920, to William M. and Catherine (Ries) Sellmeyer in Covington, KY. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and was a teller and executive secretary at First National Bank and Trust Co. in Covington prior to marrying John J. Baumann in 1947. She was an active member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, where she served as secretary for the CCD Board of Education and was treasurer for many years for the St. Annes Altar Sodality. Evelyn was also a volunteer for school libraries in Union, KY, and Eaton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 1986, brothers Raymond and Alvin, and sister Estelle. She is survived by her children John W. of Huber Heights, OH, Joel of Raleigh, NC, Jim of Beavercreek, OH, JoLynn of Eaton, Jeff and Susan (Cole) of Columbia, SC, Jerold of Eaton, Jerry and Paula (Kerler) of Eaton, and Joe and Debbie (Loy) of Villa Hills, KY; grandchildren Alexander, Victor, Katerina, Owen, and Olivia; cousins, nieces, and nephews. Private Services were held in Eaton.
