Everett Stiver Henn, age 91, of West Manchester, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, OH. He was born March 3, 1930 in Preble County, OH to the late Oca and Sallie Stiver. At 8 years old he was adopted by Sumner and Mary Henn after a tragic car accident that killed his dad and 3 brothers, Noah, Cletus and Oscar. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, F&AM of the Libanus Lodge #80 in Lewisburg, OH for over 65 years, and a member of the American Legion Post 665 in West Manchester, OH for 66 years. Everett retired after 25 years as a Postmaster in West Manchester, OH. He was preceded in death by all of his parents; his wife Phyllis (Harris) Henn; five additional siblings Carl, Milo, Mary, Vivian, and Helen. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia (Brian) Robinson; grandson Nathan (Molly) McDermitt; great-grandson Nolan Everett McDermitt; sister-in-law Martha Harris. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
