Florence E. Wysong

Florence E. Wysong, age 86, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born January 9, 1938 in Eldorado, OH to the late Carl Russell and Lola Ethel (Kitson) Petry. Florence retired as a self employed seamstress that made many custom draperies for local customers. She enjoyed traveling including many trips with the Preble County Council on Aging, playing cards and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale D. Wysong; son Randy A. Wysong; and sister Ruby. She is survived by her son Doug (Terri) Wysong of Eaton; grandchildren Jeremy (Angie) Wysong of Eaton, Cory (Sarah) Wysong of Eaton, Lana Coby of Eaton, Abby Wysong of Eaton and Stuart (Lexi) Epperson of Lewisburg; great grandchildren Leslie, Galen, Makayla, Jace, Skyler, Nate, Kadence, Wyatt and Viktor; and great great-grandchildren Cooper, Mason, River, Elliott and Henry. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Aaron Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Eldorado, OH.
