Frances R. "Sissy" Rasmussen

Frances R. “Sissy” Rasmussen, age 54, of Eaton, OH passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at her residence.  She was born September 3, 1968 in Urbana, OH.  Sissy was a 1986 graduate of Eaton High School; earned her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University and her Master’s Degree from Miami University and most recently earned her Educational Specialist Degree from Concordia University.   She worked as an Early Childhood Special Education Director at Butler County Educational Service Center.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, the beach and spending time with family.  She was preceded in death by her father Carl R. “Bob” Walton, III.  She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Kevin Rasmussen; daughter Claire Rasmussen; mother Janet Walton; stepmother Karla Walton; siblings Rob (Denise) Walton, Dave (Sheila) Walton, Steve (Leslie) Walton and Sondra Day; nieces and nephews: Tyler, Lacey, Clayton, Austin, Josh, Macie, Jason and Derek; brother-in-law Robert (Karla) Rasmussen; sister-in-law Lou Anne Rasmussen; mother and father-in-law LeRoy and Cindy Rasmussen; and numerous other family members and friends.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 226 W.
